sCuBa DiViNg In ThE sEa

Oh no, get your gear ready, we’re about to dive in (ohh, yeah)
Anyone on the boat jump for the ocean (ohh, yeah)
But watch out for big hammerhead sharks
We jumping in, follow me

I’m in the sea (I’m in the sea)
I’m in the sea (I’m in the sea)
Nobody can see me ‘cause I’m diving in the sea (diving in the sea)
I’m in the sea (I’m in the sea)
I’m in the sea

Take a good, hard look at my scuba diving gear

I’m in the sea hydrophobic watch me scuba dive
Scuba diving in the waters of the sea
Going farther down, pressure building up
You can’t catch me hydrophobic ‘cause I’m in the sea

Take a look at me (fish)
I’m in the big sea (fish)
We looking at lost treasures
‘Cause it’s so cool (cool)
I got my air tank
And my flippin-flippers
I’m scuba diving, you watching me
Getting so jealous

I’m looking for a lost key for sunken treasures
The treasure box is shining, making me squint
This is not a fantasy, for this is real
I’m in the sea, hydrophobic, you better not get wet

I’m in the sea and
We’re finding stuff and
I found a secret treasure
Holding gold and silver
I’m the king of the sea
On a throne like Triton
If you’re on a boat
Then the fish are bittin’

Hold your mask, we’re going under

I don’t need land ‘cause I’m scuba diving (scuba diving)
I don’t need sun shine ‘cause I’m down under (scuba diving)
I’m in the deep sea with my mask and tank (wooh)
This air tank make bubble sounds hydrophobic

Sea horse if I could find you (find you)
I’d take you home and take care of you (care of you)
Gonna scuba dive all day and night (day and night)
Like fishing on a hot day in the summer sun

I can’t believe I’m scuba diving
In this clear deep blue sea (wooh)
Caribbean
Watch me dive in (can’t you see me)

Never thought I’d be the one
That a big shark saw swimming by
Believe me when I saw
I saw a sea horse

I’m in the sea
I’m in the sea
Nobody can see me ‘cause I’m diving in the sea
I’m in the sea
I’m in the sea
Take a good hard look at my scuba diving gear

I chose to do scuba diving for my research projectbecause I have always been interested in learning how to scuba dive. I thinkthat the experience would last a life time and I don’t think it would besomething someone would forget doing. Throughout the project I have beengathering and gaining information that would help someone become a betterexperienced diver. I learned that if someone wants to become a scuba diver, theyhave to undergo many training courses in order to become certified. A few thingspeople have to learn how to do is how to jump in the water, how to properly usedyou air tank, and how to handle your equipment and use each piece. I alsolearned what makes a good diving location; waters that are crystal clear withdifferent types of sea or ocean creatures. The location or destination for scubadivers plays a major role in someone’s diving experience. I found out later onin the project during my interview with Dr. Richard Champion that people whohave asthma should not try scuba diving. I learned that nine percent of scubadiving deaths come from asthmatic people. Overall, if I had the chance to learnhow to scuba dive I would take the opportunity and hope for the best.

How One Enters Open Water

The videos on You Tube, PADI Scuba Diving Course and Scuba Diving Training, were about the basics of scuba diving. Someone at a training class was videotaping his group’s experience. The videos showed the viewer how to enter a pool or open water area and what to do underwater. The way you jump in, is much the same as jumping on a trampoline. You jump in off the side of the pool with your feet either together or in the scissors position. Once you are underwater, they instructors show you how to fix you goggles and use your air tank device. The videos also showed the viewers what some of the devices did on the scuba wear. There was a device that hung on the side that was able to help you float or help you sink. The videos had a lot of information in them that will help me have a better understanding of what to do when scuba diving.

The videos, PADI Scuba Diving Course and Scuba Diving Training, were very informative about what it takes to become a scuba diver. I learned how to jump in the water, how to fix my goggles in the water, how to use the air tank, and how to raise myself or lower myself with the devices on the scuba suit. Learning this information, will help me understand what it takes to become a scuba diver.
